What a Planting Plan Contains
Every plan shows bed outlines at 1:50 or 1:100 scale with numbered positions keyed to a species schedule. Spacing circles indicate mature spread so installers avoid overcrowding at delivery.
Schedules list botanical names, quantity, pot size, and indicative unit prices sourced from Austrian wholesale ranges current at the time of drawing.
Layering Strategy
We structure planting in canopy, shrub, perennial, and groundcover layers — even on small plots. This hierarchy creates depth and reduces bare soil that invites weeds during establishment.
Spring, summer, and autumn interest columns in the schedule show clients when each species contributes colour or texture throughout the year.
Soil and Aspect Notes
Margin annotations describe expected soil pH, drainage amendments, and whether a bed faces north, east, south, or west. These notes prevent costly substitutions when nurseries flag availability issues.
Lime-tolerant selections for calcareous Innsbruck soils are flagged separately from acid-preferring pockets where ericaceous compost is specified.
Substitution Protocol
When a cultivar is unavailable, we provide two approved alternatives with matching height, spread, and seasonal character. Substitution requests are handled by email within two working days during planting season.
Major palette shifts require a revised drawing at €120 for plots under fifty square metres or €240 for larger schemes.
Delivery Formats
Clients receive print-ready PDFs and editable spreadsheet exports for nursery ordering. Large commissions include a pinned digital layer for tablet use on site during installation supervision visits.
Stand-alone planting plan commissions without broader styling context start at €620 for beds up to twenty square metres.
