Our Styling Process

From first conversation to delivered documentation — a clear sequence for every garden commission.

Step One — Discovery

We open with a conversation about how you use your outdoor space, maintenance appetite, and budget for plants and materials. Photographs and rough dimensions gathered beforehand shorten this phase considerably.

Discovery concludes with a written scope outline and fee proposal valid for thirty days, so you can decide without pressure before committing to a full styling package.

Step Two — Site Survey

For on-site commissions we visit to record aspect, existing vegetation, levels, and access routes for deliveries. Surveys last forty-five to ninety minutes depending on plot size.

Measurements are taken with laser distance tools and noted on base plans that become the foundation for all subsequent drawings.

Step Three — Concept Draft

Within two to three weeks we present a concept board with layout zones, material swatches, and indicative planting character. This is a dialogue document — not a final deliverable — meant to align vision before detail work.

One concept revision is included; further exploration is billed at €95 per hour with prior written approval.

Step Four — Documentation

Approved concepts become scaled plans, planting schedules, and specification notes. Delivery timelines range from ten days for terrace packages to four weeks for full garden styling.

Digital files are transmitted via secure download links; printed folders are available at €45 plus postage for clients who prefer physical reference binders.

Step Five — Handover Support

We remain available for contractor questions during installation season. Email queries are answered within two business days; optional on-site supervision visits are €160 per hour.

A follow-up review six months after planting helps assess establishment and adjust maintenance expectations for the coming seasons.
